“Lovely stay ”

“Nice place outside Lincoln - easy to find, good parking, nice surroundings. Place is clean and tidy, room decent size with good facilities. Only issue was shower over bath which was fine but would have preferred walk-in. Good eating options at the attached Pub.”

“We loved the hotel our room was excellent, we thought the traffic noise would be loud overnight but it didn’t keep us awake . The bed was wonderfully comfortable. I loved that there were electric sockets right by the bed so I could plug in my phone.Our breakfast in the morning was wonderful and extra water for tea and coffee for my husband were no problem .”

“We were welcomed by Caitlin. Such a lovely lady who was genuinely interested in making sure everything was perfect. So we felt at ease straight away. Lovely large, clean room with a huge bed. Lots of attention to detail. Nice clean bathroom. All staff very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Food choices very good too. ”

“My Daughter and I have just had a 2 night stay at the Forest Lodge having traveled up from Kent for a wedding. On arrival we were greeted and immediately were made to feel welcome , nothing was a problem , All the staff were amazing and we would like to say a huge thank you for making our stay so pleasurable . “Well what a surprise we hadn’t expected much as we paid a very reasonable price. Arrived and was shown up to our room, very friendly service. We stayed in the cappuccino room. The room was lovely, great size & really light and airy. Lots of little touches like kits with things you might need, plenty of shower wash, shampoo etc. tea, coffee & sugar well Stocked as well as little biscuits & bottles of water. Far outweighed what we had expected. Excellent location with access to the marina and the...

“I will definitely be back at the Red Lion when I’m next in the area, it’s a lovely pub and the rooms which are located just across the car park are excellent. They’re clean, comfy and small touches like crisps and biscuits top off a lovely place. The hosts are very nice and they’re very welcoming within the pub aswell which serves outstanding food. ”

“Received a warm welcome from the owners and staff at The River Don Tavern. Had a lovely meal, well cook with generous portions. Good size room with large bed, plenty of tea, coffee, chocolate and biscuits. Good breakfast supplied. Shower a bit dated, but clean with plenty of hot water. Spacious car park. Quiet farming village with safe walks for our dog. Enjoyed our stay. ”
