Chris and Resa run a wonderful B&B! The house itself is beautiful, and if you like seeing original architectural details of historic buildings, this is the place for you. Breakfast was delicious, and it was hard to pick what our favorite meal was. After a day of shopping on Main Street, it was nice to come back to the house for a charcuterie plate and cookies (both different every day!) and wine. My favorite touch was a homemade brownie waiting for us when we checked into our room - delicious!

We were extremely impressed with our stay at the Lamberson Guest House. The room was probably the nicest that we have stayed in. The sheets and bedding were very comfortable. The breakfasts both days were incredible!! The hosts provided very nice snacks at 4 each day as well as excellent choices for both beer and wine. The hosts were also very friendly and took the time to get to know each of their guests.

Stephanie and Jeff were great hosts. The property has the prefect location overlooking Galena. The house has a lot of history and the rooms are large. The breakfast was amazing and was like a work of art. Thank you Stephanie for getting us a restaurant reservation on a busy weekend.

This property is in the PERFECT location - just steps away from everything downtown has to offer. Resa and Chris could not be more kind. They even helped my fiance pull off a last-minute proposal! Our rooms were immaculate, the food was delicious, and the grounds were lovely. We will be back.

Everything about the Lamberson Guest House was awesome. The house is beautiful. Our room was so comfortable. The home cooked breakfasts were out of this world. You can see and feel the love put into this bed and breakfast. Michelle is such a sweet lady. My husband and I couldn't have asked for more at her bed and breakfast. But if we did, I know Michelle would have done her best to get it for us. This is definitely our destination for future Galena trips.

Gorgeously Restored Galena Gem

My wife and I were looking for a quick weekend get away. I came across the Lamberson House as an option; so happy we did. You will feel like you are at home in this B&B. Michelle the owner and host is so incredibly polite and accommodating. The home is fully restored and in incredible condition. Modern bathrooms and very comfortable bedding in a fantastic location overlooking picturesque Galena. We will for sure be returning as this was above and beyond a hotel or rivaling B&B's.
