Pros: We had a lake view room on 8th floor, which had a really lovely view of Cheongpung Lake. We were visiting a nearby temple and also tried the Cheongpung cable car - a beautiful view on the top. There are some nice restaurants nearby serving mushroom and beef stew (jeon-gol), beef steak (ddeokgalbi) etc.
Cons: Facilities are pretty old and you have to pay to use some of the facilities like sauna and indoor swimming pool. Our room was certainly outdated - carpet was stained and faded, lots of scratches on the door and furniture, and the worst was the bathroom. No curtain in the shower, so after shower the bathroom is totally wet. It's a good 30-40 mins ride to the nearest city, Jecheon. Not much to see it there even when there's a market.
