"no beach area that is accessible, rocky, was in opening stages and rooftop pool not open, dinner ordered but had not been given to kitchen so long wait, not an all inclusive, no entertainment, pool was a lap pool but it did have beautiful view of water we thought it was an all inclusive but was not!"

"A perfect stay for those who want to be close to the action but also want a true Barbados experience. Friendly staff, good food and great value. Yes there are a lot of steps and probably not a great hotel if you have mobility issues but other than that we can't fault it .. "

"Hotel was clean, staff friendly and helpful. Views from ocean view rooms was good, easily seeing and hearing the ocean, a few palm trees were obstructing the view slightly, but peaceful environment with birds chirping and I even saw 2 monkeys running around."

"The rooms are very small and noisy - even with the "noise cancelling curtains". Located at Savvy on the Bay which attracts all types of customers. We've stayed all over the island in the last 40+ years and this was our least fav. The best part is it is located on one of the best beaches on the island. With that, comes the beach bandit vendors that are relentless. It's on a UNESCO site but we didn't see any evidence that they were doing anything h to preserve the area. Not even a recycling box in the room. It was ok for the price for the few days we chose to stay there. "

"Our first Caribbean holiday where we ventured outside the big established resort chains and booked a smaller boutique hotel. Our overall experience was pretty good, but still room for improvement. First - the good stuff. Our room was comfortable and clean, with a great view of sea and sunsets from our balcony. The pool and bar areas were in good order (though maybe a few sunbeds light, and a bit more shade available) and the bar staff lively and friendly. On the other hand - food, especially dinner, is ok but nothing more than that. We obviously weren’t expecting the vast range of options the big resorts have, but the menu was pretty limited. The waiting staff's attitude varied, with some friendly but others stand offish. "
