"Rooms need a serious refresh. Not all the lights worked, every lampshade was ripped/torn or had holes in it, the ceiling fixture by the bathroom was full of dead bugs, switch and outlet cover plates were broken or missing, pillows were old and flat, built in desk/TV stand had no chair, shower had no curtain or door, there was random black electrical tape marking out something on the floor, the flooring was old faded and scratched badly, Expedia and the website for the property said there was a continental breakfast and there was no continental breakfast. I literally searched for a room in a hotel that offered breakfast. I had to drive somewhere else to get breakfast. There was trash all over the property around the buildings and against the fences. When I got to my meeting, the local from Helena said that this hotel is known for all the drug related issues that happen in and around it. There was litterally a shooting there two weeks prior, where a guy drove up to the property and shot his girlfriend."

"Dirty bathroom, window seal, and stained bed sheets. No hot running water, bugs in light cover, no cover for light switches. Paint on wall falling off, plastic bag duck taped to ceiling to cover hole. Terrible"

"Room was absolutely disgusting! Blood stained pillows, stained bedspread, mattress gross! No way was I staying there. Staff wouldn’t offer refund. So, I “ate” my money and went elsewhere. Don’t make the same mistake as me. Don’t bother booking."

"Great location, very central with opportunity to walk and see Helena. This is a budgetary hotel (It's in the name, :)), that exceeds the expectations. Plenty of parking (mid-week), very clean rooms, decently quiet. Will stay there again. Thank you!"

"Definitely don't recommend. The first room we were assigned had been smoked in -- the front desk guy was super helpful and got us a second room. Great of him, but ick. We were excited for the pool and hot tub -- but the hot tub was out of order, and the pool was fine but really small. The rooms were pretty beat up, not super clean, the showers took a really long time to warm up. The breakfast was fine, but super limited. Here's the kicker though -- our pups were with us, and due to the non-cleanliness of the hotel, one of them found and ate some pot from the hallway or lobby -- a gummy? a brownie? who knows? But we had to rush him to the emergency vet. So there's that. Ain't coming back ever."
