Overall a pleasant stay. It took awhile to cool the room with the air unit would be our only downside.

The cleaning staff was super noisy slamming doors, speaking incredibly loud with no concern whatsoever for anyone while we were sleeping at 8 am on our vacation. The ac wall unit was so dirty and filled with dust that we sneezed every time we turned it on and the room stunk so bad.

Only reason for leaving a 4 star review is they were supposed to have the pool opened which I why we booked that hotel, but when asked why the gate was locked to the pool they said oh they just haven't got around to cleaning it yet. Pool had been "opened" for a few weeks at this point.

A highly rated hotel for a very reasonable price compared to other nearby hotels. The front desk agent was very friendly, efficient, and seemed to really like her job. No issues, large room, highly recommend this hotel.

Bed was very uncomfortable. Pillows were tiny. Was woken up multiple times in the night due to the noise outside. Otherwise very average hotel. Nothing fancy.

Location was amazing if you want to be near the main strip. We were able to walk to all of our entertainment (like the aquarium, Anakeesta, the Car museum and Ripley’s) and you are right in the middle of all the restaurants and shops. You could tell the hotel was older but the refurbishment was nice and housekeeping brought clean towels and emptied trash daily without having to be asked. There was a good bit of traffic noise but that is the trade off of being so close to the main strip. I’m sure we would have used the balcony if it was warmer out. Starbucks is very close for a quick breakfast if you don’t want to go to a pancake restaurant. Having the Walgreens so close is also handy. We were pleased with every restaurant/food stand we tried. Gatlinburg did not disappoint!

Biggest Pro for this hotel-Great location. We were able to walk everywhere we went in Gatlinburg. There is a designated parking area under the building, however, it’s a tight squeeze and our car scraped really bad when pulling out. The room and bathroom was clean enough for one night to sleep, but it definitely could have been better. The important thing…the bedding, towels and shower were clean. For the price, I think I would stay here again.

Great price! Room clean and comfortable. Staff friendly. Enjoyed free coffee and hot chocolate on the cold morning after our stay. Free parking made the deal even better.

The rooms are not cleaned daily like they’re supposed to do. When you spend this much on a long vacation day, they could at least sweep and mop it daily. The toilet paper was the cheapest you could buy, so terrible quality. We never saw the staff after we checked in.

The hotel is a little older but it was a lot better than I expected for the price. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly. It was walkable to restaurants and activities so we didn’t have to pay extra for parking to go to activities. The parking garage is extremely tight. Only compact and midsize cars could park in there. I drive a Traverse and had to park in the open parking area. Other than that I would recommend this hotel. A very pleasant experience. We even had a balcony. Not much of a view right outside but it u look up u can see the mountains and a beautiful sunset.

Rating is based on beds alone. When you want a hotel you need to sleep in. Beds are impossibly hard and old and concave—- well worn. It seems as if they are updating the rooms with new flooring, paint, lighting, fixtures, etc. But they’ve missed the most important part—the mattress.

Winter stay
Upstairs, no elevator. Very nice size room but bathroom extremely small. Stayed 3 nights, one night had very loud guests almost understanding every word they said. Walls do need updating for sound. Blanket too small for king bed…haha one of us tugging back and forth. Otherwise was good and close enough to walk to Gatlinburg
