“Clean, quiet and warm. What else for a business trip”

“My room was a lovely suite with its own kitchen and sofa. I think furniture lay out could be changed so you could watch TV from the sofa rather than just the bed. My TV didn’t work the first night but the staff fixed it the second night, and offered me another room if they couldn’t. Breakfast was nice and lots of choice. Hot food cooked fresh. The hotel is more central than I thought so easy to walk into town along the river or even to the large garden centre. A big downside is my room was...

“Very helpful staff. Excellent food. Shower gel/ shampoo combo in the shower would have been appreciated!”

“The room was clean and extremely spacious but communal areas needed a lick of paint. Friendly, helpful staff both at reception and at breakfast (which was excellent with a range of hot and cold options). My friends and I had a full English breakfast which was cooked to order. And unlike other hotels in March, has excellent parking facilities. Bear in mind it is a 3 star but excellent value for money.”

“Lovely place.”

“Clean room”

“The staff were really friendly and the room was really well appointed and clean. The breakfast was good too. The only drawback with this property is that the rooms are upstairs in a SUPER busy pub. There was a disco downstairs until 2am which there was no escaping from. Thankfully we were out at an event until late so we didn’t have to put up with it for too long and it was quiet once everyone had left.”

“All was perfect as usual”

“The accommodation was modern, spotlessly clean and tidy. The location for our requirements was excellent. There was mike and orange juice supplied in the fridge. The only criticism is that the room was very hot and there were no fans and on a personal note the double bed was very small, but these points would not stop us going back. Other than that I would highly recommend.”

“I stayed here along time ago, the new management has definitely done wonders with place, With the self contained layout it's ideal for a couple of nights or longer stays, I would recommend staying, it's close to Peterborough, centre and train station.”
