“This is a recently renovated Gold Rush era hotel, very quaint and authentic. The rooms and bathrooms have been updated to modern standards which is nice, but have authentic period decor/antiques. The town is VERY small and cute, extremely quiet (in general) and a walkable historic self-guided tour. It makes a great base of operations for exploring the area. A couple of things to know: it is 3 story, but because of the age, there is no elevator (typical with Gold Rush era hotels). They have one...

“The trailer parking is the reason i choose this hotel. It would be beneficial to know which drive to enter beforehand. If you plull into the main parking lot it can be hard to get while pulling a trailer. The bedwas comfortable and the ac was cold. The water pressure and temperature was awesome. Nice staff.”

“Wow! The perfect place for a romantic getaway! The grounds and rooms are just gorgeous with spectacular views. The breakfast was the best! So delicious! We just loved the pool with a waterfall and slide. Every touch was amazing - super comfy bed, robes, arriving with the mini fridge already cool, wine glasses and pool towels ready. Our only regret was not booking another night. Can’t wait to return!!”
