“Great place. The only complaint was low shower water pressure”

“The room was clean. I have stayed here numerous times. I come back because the staff is great and of its location. Breakfast is nice added feature.”

“Everyone was nice. Good location.”

“I looked forward to staying at this historic house but ended up regretting it. Generally the bed was nit comfortable but the bathroom particularly was not good with visable md in the shower. I was there 2 days but only quickly used the shower once.”

“Caleb greeted us when we arrived on this lovely, historic properly in Gettysburg and was helpful, knowledgeable about the history of the building and very proud to work there. I love a staff member who really likes their job. The room was beautiful and spacious, nicely cooled, clean, fresh sheets, comfy bed, just lovely. I wish you had stayed there for more than just one night. Caleb recommended their on-site restaurant. My lobster bisque wasn't great in flavor and I didn't see any lobster...

“Amazing B &B. Loved everything about The Swope Manor. Breakfasts were superb. You should stay here, you will not be disappointed.”

“Absolutely lovely B &B in the perfect location. The family that owns the property are wonderfully kind and accommodating. I usually stay in brand hotels for points but I thought I’d try something different. I love it and will be back!”

“Great location, nice breakfast room, dog friendly.”

“I loved everything about my stay here. The hosts were amazing and breakfast was generous and delicious! You’ll be happy to stay here.”

“Everything is good!!!”

“No coffee or ice available. He said I could go to the gas station next to us and they would give us that. Nice outside seating area. Typical motel.. sleep and go. One night was ok for the cost.”

“Likes: Historic building provides sense of what Gettysburg was like in Civil War era. Dislikes: Operators seemed inexperienced on how to please guests. “The location was amazing. Restaurants and shops walkable toward Cemetery Hill and to downtown. Parking was easy and the fenced in yard was perfect for our little dog.”

“The only down side was the elevator ran slow. The restaurant was beautiful and the food was delicious. The waiters were so attentive and helpful.”

“Clean room, comfortable beds, and quiet location. We also appreciated the pool and free breakfast.”
