I wouldn't find myself here again unless visiting friends or family but perhaps my experience just wasn't the best. My hope is that guests who stay in the future have a much better experience after staff read my review.

"Nice , clean updated property. My only surprise was that the tv was horrible. No HD, no channel listing and no ability to load into my personal tv services such as YouTube Netflix etc. Nice room , great bathroom, stupid tv"

"Well maintained, staff were very couteous and mini golf was quite fun. We stayed in the farm house that can accomodate upto 12 guests (4 Bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms), the house was decorated with antique/rusty tools that gave it a unique character,kids loved it!! Overall it was a fun experience."

Ghent is very close to Beckley which has many dining options. Winterplace has been great for us.

All the folks we met were very pleasant, both at Winterplace and at Skyline. We had a good dinner at the motel. Other than the ski slopes, which were great, we didn't see much of Ghent.
