"I’m very surprised this property had such decent reviews. From check in, the property left a lot to be desired. The front desk attendant was not very friendly, albeit admittedly new. I went to get into my room, which was a challenge on its own because the handle only worked if you timed the key card swipe with a swift hip check to the door to get it open because it stuck so bad. "We had a great stay at TRU by Hilton in Phoenix for the Cardinals game! The staff was incredibly friendly & welcoming, making check-in a breeze. The hotel was spotlessly clean, & although we didn’t use many of the amenities, everything we saw looked well-kept & inviting. The breakfast was delicious & offered a nice start to our day. One of the highlights for us was the hotel’s fantastic location—it’s right next to a shopping outlet & close to downtown, with plenty of food & activities nearby....
