“Hotel in the process of changing hands,only one staff , no evening meals or breakfast.Room not what i booked, bathroom required better cleaning. No milk or cup for tea. ”

“Lovely stay, would come again. Nicely presented room and bed was comfortable. Lovely walks along the river on doorstep. Easy parking. My room was on second floor so I struggled a little bit to carry everything up. The room was very warm so I was grateful for the fan provided in the room. I would worry about how warm the 2nd floor would be in the summer. The email with check in information was great. The farm shop nearby is very good and useful.”

“The main building itself looks great and the lounge and restaurant have clearly been updated of late and are very classy. The food in the restaurant was of a fairly high standard and the staff very friendly. The part that lets the hotel down is the standard of the rooms in the adjacent building. The view was really nice, but the rooms are very tired indeed, with the shower in the bath (albeit powerful) something of a relic and I had to bend down to use it. “Perfect place to stay. Lovely pub & gardens. Room was great plenty of room with the added luxury of a small balcony overlooking the pub garden. Breakfast was great and although not needed they had reserved a seat for an evening meal which I thought was great.”
