"Amazing place, people accommodation and food, and let’s not forget the farm shop! I won’t go in to detail just go stay there and see for yourself. Truly wonderful and will be back one day. Thanks Ian 👍"

"Cosy traditional b&b room above the pub itself, surprisingly quiet (never heard a sound) even though the pub below is a very popular place and full every night.
Nice breakfast, good evening meal, can’t fault the place. Patrick and the locals were very friendly, we happily chatted amongst them all evening on both nights we stayed.
All in all a very good time, would we stay again? Absolutely no problem at all."

"David is a saint! It was like staying with family if family isn't overbearing or meddlesome. And it's a super comfy bed.
The location is about 10-15 minute walk into town center or the entrance to the Chalice Well or footpath up the Tor.
I'd stay here again in a heartbeat."

"Wonderful period property, all modern conveniences, comfortable beds, luxury bedding, spotlessly clean.
Situated just off the high street with secure on site parking, and within walking distance of various eating establishments.
Website is easy to use, and informative, covers everything you need to know about the property and local area.
Jamie & Gary are fabulous hosts.
Highly recommend this establishment."

"We had a lovely warm welcome from our lovely host who was so helpful and made us feel at home . It is a cosy , peaceful ,homely place with good vibrations . It was great to have the use of a shared kitchen, to cook a meal anytime! We helped ourselves to a continental breakfast and enjoyed the peaceful dining area overlooking the Tor! Next door is the comfy crystal room which was so very relaxing and rejuvenating. We were unsure about the shared bathrooms but no problem they were always free...

"We just had the room on a room only basis as the breakfast was quite expensive. The hotel is very central to the lovely city of Wells and so we had a pleasant walk around the cathedral and enjoyed a visit to a local cafe of which there are many.
There was plenty of free parking which is always a bonus when you are staying so central as this was.
The room was pleasant but had a four poster bed which we hadn't booked and weren't expecting which was fine for me but as my wife is quite short, she had to take a running jump to get on it as it was so high. Bed was comfortable but not the most comfortable I've ever stayed in."
"The hotel was amazing, the room that we stayed in was so clean and lovely, it was the witch’s hat room .we loved it .all the staff were amazing, so friendly , polite and helpful.we will definitely stay there again .the food was lovely and not over priced."
"A warm welcome
Cozy double comfy bed warm room
Amazing breakfast
Good value for money
In the centre of Wells - perfect location
Few areas of the pub could do with a refurbish"
"Nice hotel with big rooms but poor lighting to do make up and nowhere in the bathroom to put down a wash bag or make up bag … glass shelf too narrow! Exquisite food. Thank you"
"The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect, this farm is a fabulous escape and more !
The lodge was clean and well equipped and had the added luxury of a hot tub.
We didnt try the axe throwing or the archery but we will be back so who knows"
