The manager/owner - Jeff - fantastic, friendly & responsive. Perfect location. Older room with a few things needing upgrading or replacing but would definitely return! We will be back!

Amazing view and very well located. No air con in the apartment is the only concern for the warmer months, although there is a lovely breeze on the hill there.

The property is in a perfect location with access to the beach, walking tracks, cafes and shopping. No need to get in your car once you arrive as everything is walking distance. Jeff the onsite manager is helpful and friendly. We were on the top floor with the best views. We have booked again for next year.

Disappointing.
We paid extra for a deluxe room and while it was roomy and recently renovated (therefore great potential) the condition of Unit 5 and the cleanliness was disappointing. Broken screen door lock, broken bed head and dining chairs, broken DVD player (which was replaced on our request on day 2). Plus the floor was so dirty we couldn’t walk bare feet inside without them turning black underneath. Such a shame as friendly staff and great walkable location to beach, national park and shops. Plus, even though we booked and paid extra for a deluxe unit, we weren’t placed in one of the two featured on their website. So not sure if we were actually placed in one or not.

Great views. Handy to National Park and beach.
Had a great short stay at Hillhaven. Beautiful views, handy to beach and National Park. The room was clean and comfortable. Will stay again.

Fabulous ocean view apartment. Older style but freshly refurbished. Walking distance to shops/restaurants. Directly across road from beach. Apartment well equipped for a comfortable stay. Manager Jeff helpful and friendly. We would stay again.

Mesmerising views, awesome location!
Although the building is quite old, our apartment was very comfortable and the views were amazing. It is brilliantly located next to a national forest and across the road from the ocean plus there are great restaurants and cafes nearby. We would definitely go back!

Location Location!!
Location and views were amazing. The place is quite run down needing a little TLC. If you are looking for a lovely spot just to chill and admire our beautiful coast line this is the place for you.

Clean but older rooms, new kitchen but rooms and cupboards old, bathroom small but clean. Fantastic location and overall we had a very pleasant stay

Showing her age, but brilliant view
The view and location were excellent, and the kitchen had stacks of cooking equipment. There were plenty of electrical appliances, some new, and all working well. The problems were no air-conditioning and it is in desperate need of painting and having screen and sliding doors fixed.

Great place to stay
This is the second time we have stayed here. Jeff and Ruth are fantastic and always helpful. The place is older but always clean and tidy. Great views. We will be back.

excellent location
This apartment was very well equipped, particularly the kitchen. It is in the best location, walking distance to rainforest reserve, eateries and waterfront playgrounds. Great views looking up the northern sweep of the beach to Surfer's and the sparkling lights. Not on the highway, which was a bonus. There were only two sub optimal things- the non sliding screen door in the lounge and the deterioration of concrete on the balconies, which I assume would be a massive undertaking to repair. If coming to Burleigh again, I would stay here without bothering to do any more research.

Beautiful apartment, close to the beach & surf
We loved the stunning views of the ocean and of the tall Gold Coast buildings from our apartment balcony. Hillhaven is close to shops, restaurants, the beach and surf. A very peaceful and memorable holiday. We would certainly book a holiday at Hillhaven again. The staff managing the apartments are extremely friendly and helpful and relaxed.

Perfect location and view was amazing.
Hotel is in a magical location with a stunning view! But the room itself was in poor condition and very battered. Part of our balcony was roped with tape like a crime scene which was disappointing especially for the cost per night.

went to the goldy for state nippers with the family - needed a two bedroom - fantastic location - close to the beach and restaurants - building is dated but rooms are comfortable and clean - view is amazing - best part are the managers - jeff and his wife are wonderful, helpful and considerate - would recommend for a family break or holiday

Great Location but dirty
Great location, apartment stunk like it had been locked up for months, carpet was filthy, sheets had holes in them, 2 rolls of toilet paper for 5 days and the furniture was rusty and full of dust, couch was feral...I was very disappointed for what I paid for it...disgraceful!

Beautiful views and close to walkways
The hotel has beautiful views regardless of the floor level you are staying. It is situated at the end of the street so there is no traffic noise, just the sounds of the ocean. Balconies are sufficient and are a great spot to enjoy the breeze views, a coffee and a book. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. A short and easy walk through the scenic coastal parkland sees you at the still waters of Tallebudgera. The hotel managers are very accommodating and friendly. Our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children) thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A GOOD OLDIE
I have stayed here several times over about 20 years.The position on top of Burleigh Hill looking north along the beach is great. You can leave the car in the car park and walk everywhere. The walk around the Hill is great. Access to Burleigh shops and coffee bars is very easy and very rewarding. The units are old but clean, tidy and comfortable. You don't need air conditioning - the breeze is beautiful

Thank you Jeff at reception for all the help you gave us, re places to visit, restaurants, shopping, parking and transport advice and much more. Hillhaven provided us with the perfect place to stay for our 9 day holiday with ocean views. We spent many an afternoon whale watching from the large balcony and walking to shops and restaurants. We loved the walking tracks around the Hills and the beautiful beaches. Liz and Tom

Great weekend in Burleigh
We were in Burleigh for the weekend for a friends 60th. Hillhaven was a great location and was within 200m of the venue for the party. We enjoyed the hospitality of a few food outlets and had a great walk along the coast in the morning and a great walk thru the National Park in the afternoon and all was done easily from Hillhaven. Hillhaven was good fior a weekend away.
