The Jewel Apartments are located right opposite the beach which is absolutely lovely. There are 3 towers, we were in the North Tower. Our apartment had 2 rooms, a kitchen and great lounge room.
The only issue we had was the letting agent was not in the same building so after arriving from the airport we had to go to surfers to pickup the keys. At least we could leave our keys in the apartment upon checking out. Also, I would have liked a few more amenities considering we paid so much for the accommodation... like toilet paper was 2 rolls for 3 of us for 6 days. It would have been nice to have some of the basic grocery items in the kitchen, like extra tea towels, sponges, dishwashing liquid, laundry powder, rubbish bags.
And, finally,the foyer has a strong perfumed smell upon entry which is quite off putting.
It does sound like did not have a good stay but we did and it was lovely.
