Clean and comfy
Very clean, plenty of space, kitchen has everything you need. Great to be able to do some laundry and they provided washing powder and a clothes horse for drying on the balcony. The only negative was the smell of cigarette smoke from the permanent resident in the unit below ours - it permeated the stair well and we could smell it from out on our balcony. Not ideal for non smokers and when you’ve got kids. Besides being a bit dated, it was very clean, beds were comfortable and it was equipped with everything we needed for a family. Close to beach, playground and coffee. Secure underground parking was a great bonus too.

treasure hunt
The only issue was a lack of air conditioning, which given the area could be seasonally uncomfortable on high temperature. The location, comfort, and cleanliness was world class. I'd say it was a hidden treasure.

Great location!
Great location and spacious apartment. All the little things were provided, eg washing powder, dishwasher tablets, spare toilet paper, cling wrap, with plenty of crockery and cutlery, to make our stay over the week feeling like a home away from home. Noise from highway a little loud, but unable to hear with windows and doors closed. This could be problematic in hotter weather as no air conditioning. Pool clean and we loved the security of the lock up undercover garage. Managers accommodating to our early arrival.

Tired apartment in convenient location
The ground floor apartment was very dated and tired. It was affordable for our family of four when other accomodation during the Commonwealth games was so expensive. It was a good location for getting public transport into Broadbeach and Surfers but was noisy being on a main road.

Close to Tallebudgera Creek/beach
While the apartment is a little outdated, the location more than made up for it. It is a fully equipped apartment so your able to cook your own food and do your own laundry. Perhaps the queen bed we had probably needed replacing as it was a bit soft for our liking. Club Talle is across the road if you want to have dinner out, apart from that you would have to get get food delivered. The apartment is a short walk to Tallebudgera creek beach and also walking distance to burleigh national park if you wanted to do some hiking. As these are apartments you will have neighbors and unfortunately if they are noisy you will hear them. The host Gail is friendly and was kind enough to contact us and let us know that our unit was available early if we wanted to check in earlier. Overall we had a great and comfortable stay. We definitely will be staying here again.

Nice place
My wife, niece and I stayed for 2 nights during our quick visit. There was a check-in delay but it wasn’t a big deal for us since we were hungry and got a bite to eat. The apartment is very nice and has everything one would need. The location is within walking distance of the beach and many restaurants. I would stay here again if we return.

Nice hotel near the beach and away from crowds.
We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It had everything we needed and was clean and tidy. It was a very pleasant surprise when we first unlocked the door to see this spacious, well kept apartment. The staff were very helpful and even let us stay well after checkout time, free of charge, to allow my partner to rest with a migraine headache.

Great accommodation in convenient location
This was our second stay at Sea Mist Palms. The apartment, although in need of an upgrade in some areas, was very clean and comfortable. Check in was easy and the manager was very pleasant and helpful. Our unit was at the rear of the building and the outlook onto luxuriant vegetation was very relaxing. We missed having wifi but this was freely available at the nearby libraries, malls and surf clubs. Everything we needed (beaches, walks shops, restaurants) was close by. We hope to return!

Plenty of room for a comfortable family holiday
We weren't expecting a lot for the reasonable room rate, we only knew we wanted a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen. We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of room we had available in both the lounge/dining area and in the main bedroom, which also had an on-suite shower/toilet and a balcony. The easy parking in the underground car park with a swipe device was a bonus, along with a large fully equipped kitchen, and another balcony off the family room. We had a nice lunch and dinner in the surf club right opposite the hotel. All in all a great little hotel that we could have easily stayed a few more nights in.

Great for an easy escape
Room was great, owner was great, there was a washer and drier in the laundry which was great. The hall cupboard was full of board games! There was also a little bucket and spade which came in handy with the little ones as we forgot ours! Only reason not 5 stars, some of the lights were blown, some of the blinds couldn't be opened due to damaged cords. Free undercover parking!

Great apartment - if it weren't for the dirt!
An old, but one-time luxurious apartment near the lovely Tallebudgera Creek, and also near a surf beach. Well-appointed kitchen, huge living/dining area and 2 bathrooms; it should have been a really nice place to stay but it was DIRTY - ants in one of the bathrooms (fortunately hadn't got to the kitchen), dust everywhere, flooring near the walls grubby and greasy. Sure, the place needed a repaint at the very least, but even in its present state it could be at least CLEAN! A shame because it was very reasonably priced and in a great location and its condition could so easily be fixed.

Economical place to stay
The unit was clean, spacious and mostly well maintained. It was a hot night when I stayed and leaving the doors and windows open let in a lot of noise from the highway. Air conditioning in the bedrooms would be a welcome addition, and would make this a near perfect place to stay. The ceiling fans barely rotated and need replacing.

A very comfortable roomy apartment close to the beach and the Surf Club. Quiet. No air conditioning, but we had fans and we were on the 3rd floor so we got a breeze.

Great location, really clean room. However for the price I was disappointed in the fact that I had to walk up four flights of stairs, the bed squeaked every time I moved and it was a pretty dated apartment. I also didn't like the fact there wasn't really anywhere to park you car to get to reception. I did like that they made the keys easily accessible for me as I arrived late and I really did like where it was located although I was there on business not a holiday.

Location, location, location.
Location was brilliant, unit was spacious and well set out. Unfortunately the bathroom needed some maintenance (1/3 of the shower screen was missing), second bedroom smelled of smoke and had no bedside lamps (there are bruises to prove the lack of light available in the dead of night!). The beds were not.comfortable at all. I would stay again thought, purely for the.. Yep you guessed it, location.

Nice facilities close to the beach
My first impression was of space - all rooms were quite large. Furnishings were nice and everything worked. Kitchen very well set up. There were two bathrooms, which was not expected for the reasonable price. Pool area very nice. Parking facilities superb - easy to park even a large car. Quite close to the beach though necessary to cross a busy highway. Good views from our unit No 16. Balconies on two sides. I have found the place I will be returning to!
