"The location is perfect for the Convention Centre (via a 5 minute walk) and access to the main Broadbeach area.
The staff were incredible - the lovely and friendly lady on check in couldn't have been nicer or more helpful!
There is some confusion in how to get to/from if you're driving, only because they don't have a dedicated space for pick up/initial registration (drive past the Star Casino, but you need to then double-back past Star Residences). You then have to go back around past the Star Casino and then around the back to park - it's not really well-signed. Plus, some online booking sites mention it's a discounted $20 parking fee but it's actually $25.
The rooms are nice, but they're not dark enough (there's a lot of light under the door from the hallway and from the window at night time even with the curtains closed). And a minor thing - I think it was a mistake but I had 2 body washes and 1 conditioner vs. 1 body wash, 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner in the squeezy toiletries.
The best part about my stay would definitely be the staff and their service, and the ideal location for what I needed."
