โProperty overall is good safe parking . Only think o recommend to have a A/c or a fan in the room as in summer when temperature goes to 30s definitely need to make it cool. Buy again its nice place to stayโ
โApartment was huge but felt the space could have been configured a bit better e.g. with a kitchenette or more comfy living area. View was amazing (just be aware that the picture shown is when the trees were very young/ had no leaves and they now cover the lake view). Breakfast was nice. Cleaning was good but would have liked the bed linen to be changed - we stayed for 5 nights and it was not changed.โ
โThe staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended a terrific restaurant and made the reservations! Also provided a boxed breakfast for an early train. The room was very nice and quiet. It is right by the ferry and near the walking path by the water. Would go back! Only downside is shortest walk from train station does not have sidewalks for most of it. โ
โThe hotel was right in the middle of Stresa and a 5 minute walk from the lake. A charming hotel and friendly owner and staff. There is parking, but we were lucky to get a space as it's a public carpark.โ
โFriendly staff, but we did have two issues. On check in we provided passports etc, but then were expected to hand to a porter as the receptionist had not been able to complete info successfully the first time.
Upon check out we were asked to pay for the booking as well as the city tax, when we had already paid the booking online. The hotel is clean but dated by British standards. Itโs very pleasant but like stepping into an upper class 80s hotel with all the swags and tails of Laura Ashley! โ
โThe inside decoration and furniture looks old, but in general, it is O.K.
Good location for accessing to the lake and nearby shopping area.

โThis hotel is just OK in terms of equipment, breakfast, kindness of staff, etc, even if the location is really good. For example, shower booth is really small, so I have to open the booth door to dry with a towel. If I have another chance to visit Stresa, I would choose another hotel nearby, even if it cost more. But a personal a/c in each room is of advantages. Usually, hotels in Stresa don't have a personal a/c.โ
โThe hotel is in a lovely location overlooking the lake, I would recommend a lake view room. The breakfast was excellent with so much variety. We had dinner one night which was also good quality.
The staff were very nice and friendly, and I would like to give special mention to Marco and Davide who were so kind and helpful when we needed to arrange our journey back to the airport and we're having difficulty, they also agreed to us having a late checkout.
I recommend this hotel for anyone wanting...
