The Hotel is Beautifully restored. I especially loved the old lift !! The staff where amazing and the food was yum yum yum !!! The room was perfect at a great price. Just some small things - the Big TV (which was great - most places have ridiculously small tvs) was up next to the roof and in a small single room its just pointing to the other side of the roof instead of tilting down. And there where 2 small brown cockroachs that I killed. Otherwise an amazing stay that I will tell others about and will stay again.

Well worth the stay. Great location to food, supermarkets, train station, foreshore and walking trails. Staff were professional and efficient. It was a bit of a climb to my room on the 3rd floor but it gave me a look at the beautiful old building.

I was passing through on my way to Armidale by train. Everything in the hotel was good, but it would have been good to be able to open a window, at least a little bit. I especially liked the bathrooms, which are really classy.

Great fun with ye olde time lift. Super restaurant, nice en suite rooms. A little noisy on Friday and Saturday nights, they provide ear plugs in the room, but we like that. Great bar, great beers, pokies and even karaoke on a Friday
