“Such a fantastic location for accessing the beautiful Brecon Beacons. We had a three night stay in an “Executive Suite”. This has plenty of room, a stand-alone shower (though no bath in our particular room) and we didn’t notice any insects. “A lovely hotel with beautiful views. Very nice restaurant with very good breakfast & dinner. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Very disappointed to find the pool out of order after our long drive, guess we should have rang ahead. Bedroom ok, bed & bedding good. “Room wasn’t cleaned so also no tea/coffee/water replaced. Called reception and replacements promised within 10 minutes - never arrived after an hour so had to re request. No clean cups or spoons. Two power cuts first night with no answer to an Expedia message.
Hotel was extremely dated and it is never a 4 star room and the receptionists all lacked basic pleasantries/communication skills. Much prefer Llechwen Hall stays.
