"Lovely stay at the hotel. Location could not be better. Right on the door step to the main strip while still giving a secluded feel. Stayed at the suite which was a very clean and well maintained room. Staff were very very good - the speed of responses were excellent and very helpful. Traditional style of hotel which is 5 stars for design and service rather than a beach resort like the others in split. The hotel was building a spa and pool on the roof which I’m sure will make it even better - was a bit loud at time however. Breakfast was also great, though the menus were often re-used paper through the day and have people previous food on them - made it hard to read but otherwise okay."

"This a nice hotel in a great location. I’m glad I got to stay here. My room was modem, large, and clean. I appreciated the helpful staff and how housekeeping brings you chocolate in the evening! The breakfast area was well presented with a large selection of foods. In the evening I wanted to eat in the restaurant because it was late. There was no one there eating or any staff around. So I asked reception and they checked and said they were still serving. So I went back and still no one to greet me. I went to the other reception area and the person there recommended a good restaurant that was open late and not far away. So that was helpful and I appreciated that. I did feel like I wasn’t given much information when I checked in. Like the fact that I had to go to the other side of the hotel to access the gym and spa. ( there are two separate wings and reception areas) I also wasn’t told that there are limited hours for the gym and pool. The gym and spa area were great. It was the nicest, biggest hotel gym I had ever used. I really appreciated that amenity. I had a great 25 minute massage in the spa. I was unable to use the pool or jacuzzi because they close very early and I didn’t realize that. I went up there and it was not very inviting. It’s more of a bar area. Not many sun loungers . The staff did not seem friendly or welcoming. So that was unfortunate and took away from my stay a little bit. Overall it was a nice stay, but I did expect a little more from a 5 star hotel."

"This property is located within the walls of Old Town Split. I was unaware that a taxi could not drop me off at the door. I recently had surgery, and needed help with my luggage. The staff made all the arrangements, and provided someone to walk with me to meet my transportation. The staff went way beyond what they had to do to help me!"
