"Nice base for exploring the island"

"Dodo Square Residence is in a great location right on Grand Bay. There is no parking at the residence but it was easy to park just down the street in front of the temple. It was easy to walk anywhere in Grand Bay from the residence including the pick up spots for ocean activities and many good restaurants nearby. The laundry facilities on site were very welcome as well. The apartment was clean and spacious and very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Breakfast can be better. One menu daily is boring and certianly not conducive to longstays. Alao the Indian vegetarian selection is rather poor and not properly considered having regrd to the people of indian origin that patronise the Lux Grand Baie"

"Jennifer and her staff were amazing, everyone was so friendly and helpful. The hotel location is excellent with plenty of restaurants and a supermarket close by. The breakfast choice is excellent and you can eat it on your balcony or have it served overlooking the beach. The hotel even organised a surprise snorkeling trip and decorated our bed for my birthday. On the weekend the area is a lot busier and noisier but it did not bother us."
