The accommodations were perfect for our annual girl's weekend. View was AMAZING and the walk along the beach was stunning. Staff was all friendly.

This hotel is right on the lake, the view was amazing with places to sit. It would be a wonderful place to stay for a reunion or multiple family vacation.

Another Great Stay @ East Bay
We have stayed at East Bay Suites many times through the years, and it is such a LOVELY spot - location, location, location - steps from the water. It is beautiful in every season. This time we enjoyed a 2-BR condo on the main floor (102), and it was great, as always. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Fabulous suite, best location.
Everything about the stay was great. Friendly check-in. Beautiful well designed and decorated large suite. Great view of the lake! The quietest hotel I have ever stayed in! Full kitchen and large bathroom. Very comfortable firm king bed with lots of pillows. Gas fireplace. Can't wait to come back.

This property is located right on the shore of Lake Superior. While the location is wonderful the room we were given was terrible. The windows were so high we could only see out of them when standing and there was no place to sit in the room in comfort. We were told because we only reserved one night we received s substandard room, infact, they said it was the ONLY room like this at the property. We were never told they give preference to customers who reserve three or more nights. We were they during their low season, very few people at the property. We felt like we were treated in a poor fashion and will never stay at this property again, even though we are frequent visitors to Grand Marais. They should think about how they treat customers who may be passing through and want to revisit. We will tell many people about the terrible experience we had here.

As I mention previously, we only have one room on property listed as a Business Studio, which is what you selected when you booked. You did not want the other room type that we have available for 1 night stays, because, to you, a murphy bed is unacceptable. Amazing place to stay. We had two balconies overlooking Lake Superior. The bedrooms were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked.

This property is always clean and well cared for. You are right downtown and can walk to anywhere. The view from the room is amazing. We have stayed here multiple times and will be back again in the near future because it never disappoints.

The East Bay Suites sits on the east harbor of Grand Marais. The view down the shore and toward Artist's Point is fabulous. The room was spacious and comfortable, and indeed, very quiet. A wonderful place for a honeymoon!
