“The hotel setting is delightful and has a real 'old country house' feel to it. There is a resident long-tailed peacock, who made very loud and frequent 'crows' and once flew from some high trees at dusk, which was amazing! The bar and a restaurant are next to each other and the staff were pleasant and very helpful. The full breakfast was excellent, if a little pricey at £14.50, although this was probably equivalent to any cafe price nowadays.
