“Clean room, Friendly atmosphere with plenty to do”

“We stayed 4 nights - our room was never cleaned or looked at in that time, the bins weren’t emptied at all. The black slime/dirt around the bath and sink left a lot to be desired and the masking tape over the bathroom door remained until we left. The staff were inefficient, the service was poor, the bar and meals were very expensive and were not worth what we paid and the menu was limited. “So sad to see a what was once probably a lovely hotel now looking very tired and in need of updating. No aircon, marked carpets and tired bathroom. The only plus was the lovely receptionist who was very professional. When we arrived for breakfast, 80% of the tables had dirty plates and cups left and no-one clearing anything away yet there were 3 staff members milling around the bar area. Coffee machine out of order too!”
