"Great stay the hotel has an excellent atmosphere. Staff weee extremely helpful and always happy to assist where they could. Food in the restaurant at night was superb as was the full emglybreakfast. Rooms are small but functional but clean and all that you need. Bed was comfortable shower was great."

Hollins Hall Hotel, Spa & Golf

"Hollins Hall is a beautiful property and we have stayed there a few times in the past. The grounds are well maintained and the hotel offers a bar and restaurant. Our room was clean, but basic and with the usual tea and coffee options. There was no bottled water provided, which would have been appreciated, and no refrigerator. I thought the bathroom amenities were somewhat lacking compared to other hotels, but we managed with what was there. We checked out early in the morning, so I can't comment on breakfast. We did not used any of the on site facilities because we were in the area for a funeral. Hollins Hall is special in it's secluded location, and I would recommend choosing a room that has all the options you require for your stay."

"I have stayed here a few times now . It’s an older hotel but the rooms are clean and the staff are lovely. There is also a good restaurant on site. The only thing that I don’t like which is not a problem for most people is that the tv is a smart one so you have to log in to apps etc and I just want to go in and switch it on and watch rather than a huge process ."

"The woodland cabin accommodation was lovely comprising of lounge, bedroom and Bathroom. A, queen bed with no option of a twin and a small but adequate fridge. Highly recommended to book spa treatments online before your stay, we were lucky as there had been some cancellations. Residents only have access 7-9am and 8-9pm! otherwise its £15 pp additional charge. Breakfast plentiful but advise arriving early as items were running out fast and lack of staff caused delays. There is a restaurant/bar, food average nothing exceptional and quite pricy."

"For a number of years we have used the Crow Wood hotel & it has always maintained the excellent standard of pleasant staff, cleanliness & upkeep of facilities. Dining in any of the three restaurants is worthwhile."
