Midland Hotel Bradford
8/10 Good
"One night business stay. Comfortable room albeit a little dated and shabby. The hotel retains many of its original architectural features whish is great to see. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was ok but would have been nice to have fresh pastries rather than defrosted ones."

The Skipton Hotel - Formerly Hotel Rendezvous
10/10 Excellent
"A little gem. I booked one night with family and regret not staying longer. The bar and restaurant were definitely upscale and worth an evening dinner which was totally destroyed by the children. Breakfast was buffet style, really enjoyed it. The canal at the back has a lovely after breakfast walk, and we were fortunate enough to be able to get a boat ride from some travellers. Amazing experience to show the kids how the boats have a home on them. The hotel has excellent parking, service and friendly staff. Knowledgeable and directed us to the boat rides in town. Another point in their favour. Definitely need to return."

Great Victoria Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"It was fine. Great central location, right next to the train and bus station. My room was nice and quiet. "

Hampton by Hilton Blackburn
8/10 Good
"A modern and comfortable room, but the poor breakfast service let down the overall enjoyment of the stay. The rooms are well designed and high quality, although there were issues with our lamp (flickering badly, couldn’t use it) and shower (blocked plug hole, not draining). Maintenance issues were reported to reception, but as it was the weekend, I was told there was nobody available to look into it until Monday. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the rest of the room. Breakfast was disappointing. Firstly, there were very few “proper” tables to eat at. Most were high-level bar-style tables, or low-level sofa / coffee tables. The selection and amount of breakfast available was also disappointing. A lot of the options had run out and were not being replenished, and it was difficult to find staff to ask to ask for more. The cooked breakfast was not particularly appetising and not very well cooked, and the non-cooked items were not too appealing either. It felt like the breakfast had be largely undercatered for, given the amount of guests staying that evening."

Hampton By Hilton Rochdale
10/10 Excellent
"Good value hotel in a Central location. Good breakfast and gym"

Chevin Country Park Hotel & Spa
8/10 Good
"Very good value. Room in cabin in woods. Nice freshly cooked breakfast. Pleasant welcoming staff."

Stone trough hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Staff were amazing, food excellent and good value for money."

Hollins Hall Hotel, Spa & Golf
6/10 Okay
"No food in late evening which was a shame as I missed dinner at an event I was attending in Leeds. Overnight the hotel was very noisy with sound travelling between floors etc. The staff were nice but a little indifferent. The breakfast was part cold and the coffee was terrible. Didn’t get a chance to try the spa."

Mercure Bradford, Bankfield Hotel
2/10 Terrible
"The whole feeling of the hotel felt dated and in much need of updating , the advert fails to show that each side of the lovely looking building are 2 great blocks of rooms. In the room almost all of the woodwork finish was worn ,exposing the wood underneath, bathroom had cracks and felt just generally dated, toilet had a very high water level, none of this made our stay very pleasant ,this was supposed to be a nice weekend away for our anniversary, but instantly felt very disappointed when we arrived."
