"We had a huge room with a comfy bed, sofa, refreshments and clean bathroom. Dinner on our first night, following a two hundred mile journey, was very welcome if a little pricey. Nevertheless portions were huge and the food was delicious. We sat in the bar after dinner simply to chill. Breakfast is a help yourself buffet. We had a view of the canal complete with views of ducks, sheep and narrow boats. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Would recommend."

"Everything (Well Nearly Everything) was first class. The Hotel and Location was fantastic. The staff were brilliant and very friendly. The food was excellent. "This is a small hotel which has been decorated well. the staff are friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was really good The rooms are clean and lovely. However, there is no lift and there are 3 floors. there isn't a large separate lounge. However ,the views are amazing."
