“Nice place outside Lincoln - easy to find, good parking, nice surroundings. Place is clean and tidy, room decent size with good facilities. Only issue was shower over bath which was fine but would have preferred walk-in. Good eating options at the attached Pub.”

“Well situated property, quiet but with accessible transport links in to the city - regular buses at stops very close to the accommodation. The room was fairly standard, clean and spacious with a tub and rain shower. The Gamston Lock pub serves good food at reasonable prices, I would recommend booking as it is popular. Staff at both the pub and accommodation were pleasant and very helpful. ”

“It was great location near to everything good for one or two njights”

“Good sized room and the bed was huge. The rooms are above the bar area which was fine as its wasn't too noisy. The car parking is easy as there is loads of space. I used this location as it was a short drive to the Water Sports Centre in Nottingham. the kitchens close about 8:30 ish so if you are late back for food I can recommend the Indian about 100mtrs down the road. All in all a nice location for a few days away”

“We stayed for a night for my birthday and my father in laws birthday and we spent the afternoon in front of the fire which was so cosy and relaxing. We then had dinner and had the famous ribs…we were all blown away by the quantity and quality of meat. The staff were incredibly friendly! The room we stayed in was huge and comfortable. Definitely will be returning! A fabulous stay. ”

“The rooms are above a country pub. We were given a suite which was extremely roomy and also had a bath within the the room, as well as a separate shower room. The bed was clean and comfortable. The thing I noticed was the quiet that night. Very refreshing. I would recommend this property”

“My friend and I had a lovely stay here last night. We arrived in the afternoon and were warmly welcomed by Karen. We were really well looked after by Karen and her team and nothing was too much trouble. Our twin room was lovely and the beds really comfortable with lovely touches in the bathroom in case we had forgotten anything. Our food in the restaurant was delicious … the best steak I have had in a while and my friend said her burger was amazing. A real gem of a place at Rutland and we will...
