โI really enjoyed my stay. The Bucket Tree is very iconic, with colonial style architecture, lovely park-like surroundings and that giant bucket-shaped tree in front. I arrived in the middle of a heavy rainstorm, so really appreciated the warm and cosy room. I had a separate bedroom with a very comfortable bed. Beautiful kitchenette and bathroom. Everything was lovely and clean and the service was great. I stayed for two nights and my room was cleaned each day. Would definitely stay here again....
โI have no problem with this hotel, from when I first arrived until I left. The Duty Manager clearly explained what I needed to know. The cleaning staff were friendly & provided an excellent service which I really appreciated. The only downside was the early morning music from the adjoining gym, which I understand was being looked into.โ
โA delightful experience from check in to check out. The room was quite spacious and had every convenience needed from microwave to mini refrigerator to stove top and all of the kitchenware needed to make meal or heat up a snack. One will not be disappointed at any aspect of this small lodge in a nice neighborhood of Lower Hutt.โ
โExcellent location. Interior was in good condition. Exterior is looking a bit run down (not like the pictures advertised on Expedia). Had a good stay. Would recommend. Was clean and tidy rooms โ
โHave stayed a few times here at green gables and enjoy the motel and facilities we mainly stay when we go to the cake tin for a sports event we will be back again in September โ
