This property was a little difficult ro find but worth it. The receptionist was pleasant and helpful. The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet.

A delightful experience from check in to check out. The room was quite spacious and had every convenience needed from microwave to mini refrigerator to stove top and all of the kitchenware needed to make meal or heat up a snack. One will not be disappointed at any aspect of this small lodge in a nice neighborhood of Lower Hutt.

This small lodge is a diamond in the ruff. From check in to check out I couldn't ask for a better experience. The proprietors were very friendly and efficient on my check in and even assisted me with my luggage to my room. The room was more like an apartment and has all the conveniences of home from microwave, mini refrigerator, stove top burners and all the plates, silverware, and every kitchen gadget needed. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the room quite spacious and all for a very reasonable price. I will no doubt be staying here on my next visit to the Lower Hutt.

The manager was excellent. Always polite, helpful and friendly. The room was excellent except for the air conditioning unit. Wasn't working properly but it kind of took the chill out of the air. Other than that I would highly recommend this place.

Very nice property with apartment style rooms. Rooms feel very modern and clean. Only downside is parking - it feels like a tetris game getting in and out of the onsite parking. I had much better experience parking on the street out front.

Worth considering but not for everyone.

A clean and functional room, good accomodations. BUT, people considering this property should be aware that they have a really ridiculous laundry policy, in that the laundry is only available between 830am and 3pm. This literally hives you 1.5 hours in the morning to wash and dry clothes before check out time, or 1 hour after check in time. The laundry has 1 standard washer / dryer, so id imagine the laundry would be pretty busy during these limited operating hours. Being candid, If we knew they had such a ridiculous laundry policy then we wouldn’t have stayed there. Guests should also be aware that there is no assigned parking, it’s first in first serve. There was no lock on the bathroom door. A minor thing, but if you’re travelling with kids or friends then it’s not overly ideal. Location is quite good.. a very quick drive to the town, or a short walk to KFC and a couple of other places. Staff were friendly. Rooms were very clean.

The bed could be bigger and not feel springy and is very low. I liked the area verh convenient as i was at the Boulcott Hospital and the mall was done the road and i had family staying at the other accommodation 2 minutes down the road. 1 day the next room was so loud it was hard to get rest but thats out of the lodge control which i understand. Was abit weird the owner was parking in the disability parking and told us not to park there but we had a disability card. I know the lady told the owner to move or something along lines. My partner and i didnt understand this. Overall it was a good stay for what it was, i would probably stay there again.
