"We recently stayed at Wyndham Resort Torquay and had a fantastic family holiday overall.
The two bedroom apartment was excellent - clean, spacious and very comfortable for a family. Having two bathrooms was incredibly handy.
Our kids absolutely loved the facilities, especially the indoor pool, outdoor spa and arcade. We visit Torquay every year to see family and usually rent a house, but this time I decided to try something different and I’m so glad we did. In fact, my kids have already made me promise we’ll stay here again next year!
The only downside was the check in process. When we arrived there were four staff members at reception, but only one appeared to be helping customers, resulting in a queue of five people waiting to check in. Once it was finally my turn, I was passed between three different staff members. One welcomed me and provided a form to complete, another processed the paperwork and issued the keys, and then I was directed to a third staff member for a sales pitch about free breakfast and Wyndham’s other properties. The whole process felt unnecessarily complicated and took far longer than it should have.
That said, the accommodation and facilities more than made up for it, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
