“I absolutely loved Excellence El Carmen. It is a large, beautifully manicured property. It has many pools, bars and restaurants. It also has a different live entertainment every night of the week. Food is also very good. Especially loved room service breakfast, Aroma coffee and desert place and dinners at French, Mexican and Indian restaurants. Staff is also very nice and polite. This place is perfect if you are looking for a relaxing and restful ambiance. Highly recommend!”

We had a great time as a family and no problems or concerns whatsoever. It's a beautiful property and the beach area is perfect. “I liked the pool”

“Honestly this place is the worst place I've been to. You have to wait more than an hour to check-in and once you get to your room, you also have to wait for your luggage to arrive, which took more than an hour. We are sitting there just wasting our time. The staffs are so eager for tips, and their facial expression will change according to the amount of the tip. Do not get a massage or a spa in this hotel. it's not worth it. I couldn't get out of this hotel fast enough. I would never visit...

“The resort is beautiful. But the room that was given to us was not great. Balcony light was not working. Ceiling Fan adjacent to the jacuzzi was not working. Broken closet door handle with exposed screw that could cut someone’s hand if not noticing. Then there was the bath robes, 1 of them had noticeable holes on the back side. So they brought us new bath robes, and those came without the robe ties. Lastly, our personal driver dropped us off and was asked by the resort security if he was going...

“I went for my daughter’s 2nd birthday and she thoroughly enjoyed it especially the lazy river. The only downside to my stay was the attitude I received from the housekeeping staff and 1 server in particular for breakfast. They tend to be warmer towards certain guests. Front desk agent Rochelle was absolutely helpful and sweet at all times”

“There is nothing good to say about this place. They stole our money. Due to Covid we had to postpone our trip. They told us we can rebook at anytime. Now, after travel restrictions have been lifted, no one is available to help us. We are first responders that need and deserve a vacation. Thieves! ”
