This hotel was amazing. The staff and service are the best we have ever experienced in our lives. Everyone is so great - we would definitely come and stay here again the next time we visit Corfu! I will say the only negative is that the internet is not great in the hotel, especially in our room we often had no wifi connection or cellular service. But if you were in the shared spaces the wifi worked fine. Otherwise, we loved this hotel so much :) And the breakfast is amazing as well!!

Our stay at Acanthus Blue was top notch. The warm welcome and hospitality we received throughout our stay was magnificent. Each staff member we encountered could not have been more friendly or helpful. We were lucky enough to encounter Dimitris every day of our 4-day stay. He checked us in and out, served us breakfast, always had a cold water bottle on hand, expedited our rental car and recommended wonderful places to visit. Most importantly, he befriended us and treated us to his wonderful sense of humor. Some people are made for the service industry – that is an understatement when it comes to the service we received from Dimitris and the entire staff at Acanthus Blue. And the breakfasts…perfection. Now that we are back in the States we are trying to recreate that delicious yogurt and fruit parfait and those fluffy, flavorful eggs. From beginning to end, our stay was perfect. The room was lovely and the air conditioning saved us during the heatwave. We truly hope to return. Our holiday in lovely Corfu and at the Acanthus is a definite favorite.

Friendly and helpful staff members! Thank you to everyone we encountered! Hotel is located close to the airport and to the 'old town'. Restaurants and coffee shops were nearby. Hotel was recently renovated, and everything appears new. Room was spotlessly clean, quiet, comfortable, spacious, and well-equipped. Breakfast was fabulous.

Great stop-over in Corfu Town
This is a great small hotel (8 rooms) for couples who want to visit Corfu old town and the surrounding area. The staff are very friendly and helpful - I would not hesitate to stay here again. Great breakfast on a very nice covered walled garden.

Repeat visit to our favourite hotel
The acanthus blue is unique . A small quantity boutique hotel in a renovated old villa. The beautifully designed interior opens onto a courtyard garden. Service is friendly and to a high standard. Breakfast is freshly prepared . Rooms are beautiful with quality bedding and temperature control heating/aircom. We have stayed before and booked again for later in the year .

My husband & I stayed at Acanthus Blue after I had emergency surgery in Greece. I was looking for a comfortable room with a nice shower. We were very pleased with Acanthus Blue. The bed was exceptionally comfortable & the room was beautiful. The staff that we dealt with were wonderful. Breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend Acanthus Blue.

This hotel is fabulous, from the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a very warm welcome. The room and bathroom are amazing so clean as is the whole hotel. The court yard is beautiful, the design of the whole hotel is wonderful. The food is delicious, you can also see this being prepared all very fresh produce. We will definitely be going back.

A fabulous little hotel, tucked away but only 50m from the sea. The service was excellent... they couldn't do enough for us. We chose to eat in the beautiful peaceful courtyard restaurant in the evening and it really was fabulous food. If they chose to advertise more then I think this would be a very busy restaurant. The following morning the breakfast just kept coming ... we certainly didn't need any lunch. I gather they only opened just before the Covid pandemic so I wish them every success. It really is a little gem and we will definitely be recommending Acanthus Blue to our friends. Thank you

We could not have received a better service from Andreas and his team. They are clearly highly motivated, enjoy their work and really want to take care of their guests. The warmth and attention went way beyond anything one would normally expect. We were treated like old friends. The hotel is spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. The food, especially the breakfasts, are simply fantastic. Only negative comment is that the wifi could be a little quicker; it works fine, but is a bit slow. The area around the hotel has a certain dilapidated charm, but that adds to the atmosphere, not detract. I would have no hesitation in staying there again or recommending it to family and friends.

A truly fantastic hotel about a 15 walk from the centre of the old town. Amazing attention to detail in a stunning building a minute’s walk from the sea wall. The rooms are gorgeous and extremely well equipped. The owner is well travelled and put an enormous amount of thought into this property. The staff couldn’t have been any more attentive, helpful and kind, always greeting you with a smile and offering assistance. I would come back to Corfu old town just to stay here again.

This is an outstanding small hotel in Corfu Town. 5 minutes to the airport & a 10 minute walk to the Old Town in a very clean & quiet location. It is a restored villa that maintains many of the charming old world features while also having modern, luxurious suites/rooms & a lovely restaurant and garden. But the staff was unquestionably the most professional, friendly & accommodating I have ever (and I travel a lot) met. Andres the concierge, bartender, general restaurant manager & all around helpful person on site & available at all times was exceptional! There was not a detail that slipped by him; he makes the Acanthus blu a 5 Star hotel! Additionally, the receptionist was equally excellent, happy to accommodate all requests and always there with the brightest smile to greet us! Finally, to note, the restaurant is amazing. Breakfast for kings and delicious local specialties for dinner at very reasonable prices. The wine selection is also of the highest caliber. I cannot recommend the Acanthus blue Hotel enough! It is everything I want in a comfortable, convenient, friendly, classy hotel (we stayed for 3 nights)!

An amazing hotel that was recently fully renovated and is located just a few steps away from the coast line and prominent Corfu Town. The staff was awesome and extremely helpful and kind. Not to mention their breakfast (included in our stay booking) was great too! Highly recommend!

3 nights of blissful luxury at the end of our travelling around Corfu and Paxos. We enjoyed every moment in this stunningly decorated small hotel. The outside area is beautifully lite during the evening and a lovely place to sit with a glass of wine. Breakfasts are plentiful and beautifully presented. All the staff are wonderful. The rooms are super comfortable with high thread count bedding and quality bathroom fittings, plus nuxe toiletries. We really like the location, 20 minutes walk around picturesque Garista Bay and into the old town. We will visit again next year

Nice boutique hotel close to Old Town
Acanthus Blue is a beautiful little boutique hotel, which is in walking distance to Corfu Old Town. Our room was pretty small but smartly set-up and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom on the other hand was pretty big and had a nice large rain shower. While the hotel is nicely renovated, you can tell that it’s an old building when it comes to noise and isolation. Despite closed windows, it can get pretty noisy. One of the highlights was definitely breakfast. Super delicious and freshly made right there in an outdoor “kitchen” in the courtyard. Extra plus: homemade pear and fig jam by the owner, which was super yummy. Staff was friendly, yet did not show the helpfulness with requests that we had hoped for and that we experienced in other hotels during our stay.

Acanthus blue is simply the perfect place for your holiday in Corfu! It has a great location, walking distance to old town (around 12 mins), no need to stay in the middle of a crowded town, the location is just perfect. Rooms are nice, very clean and the hotel is amazingly renovated and decorated. The staff and extremely helpful and friendly, breakfast is delicious and the service is impeccable!!! They make you feel home and happy, all the time!!!! It is just tooo perfect I would say. ZERO REMARKS! And a big thank you to Andreas who made all the difference!

We could not have been made any more welcome by Vasilly and the team at Acanthus Blue and no request was too much for them. Having recently undergone a major restoration this period property is now beautifully presented, with all the chic style a true boutique hotel should have. We would certainly not hesitate to recommend this hotel as it is a real gem and we look forward to revisiting in the future. With regards to Covid-19, the cleanliness and hygiene make you feel assured the team are working hard to ensure guest safety is paramount to them.

Small boutique hotel with beautiful ambiance
So wonderful we booked a further 3 nights at the end of our holiday. I felt welcomed by the hosts and drawn inside by the warm and vibe of the building. I have stayed in many small boutique hotels but this place is exceptional. Breakfast in the garden is lovely, bedrooms are stylish and full of natural light, spa grade toiletries and fluffy bathrobes are provided. There is a very cosy bar area with stunning glass lights.The area is great with a nice walk along the bay to the fortress

Shhh! Don't tell anybody how good this place is
This hotel is simply stunning and I can't see enough good things about it. The rooms are beautiful, and the staff are so friendly, helpful and professional. Breakfast in the garden was wonderful, with everything freshly cooked to order. And in the evening, it's a great place to relax with a drink. The hotel is in a lovely area, with lots of restaurants and bars nearby, and the old town a short stroll along the bay. But don't tell anybody - with only eight rooms it'll soon be booked up.
