Lovely stay at Peridis, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Hotel is very clean and comfortable, pool area is the best part. Pool is so inviting and big, plenty of sunbeds (we did go first week of september so was much quieter). You can order food and drinks straight to your sunbed. The food at the hotel is better than your average hotel food- breakfast and lunch we enjoyed every day. I'd say the cocktails are a bit amateur especially for the price. The hotel staff are amazing, they are all so friendly, smiley and helpful but without being in-your-face. I would like to give a special mention to Stefania in the spa, she gave me an incredible back and neck massage which took away all of the tension and tightness. She is there every single day so please do pay her a visit as you will leave feeling like a new person!
The hotel is walkable from the main town /old town however its about a 20 minute walk along pavements that aren't in great condition. Bear this in mind as we believed we would be central. It is only about a 7 minute walk to the end of the seafront which has lots of restaurants and nice bars.
My tip would be to hire bicycles for your stay because kos town is quite big and the taxis there are very poor and unreliable. Do not count on getting around by taxi. The seafront has great cycle lanes and with bicycles you can visit Lambi beach and the old town with ease. Also do book airport transfer via the hotel before you arrive due to the taxi shortage.
