Our stay at the Royal Sun Hotel was perfect. The room with the sea view and balcony was of a high standard, clean and comfortable. The Hill restaurant, where we ate breakfast each day, had a stunning view overlooking the old port and the sea, and was a delight to sit at each morning. The breakfast choice and quality was probably the best we’ve ever experienced. The pool was great with that brilliant view and plenty of chairs and sunbeds to choose from. All the staff were so friendly and good natured it made the stay perfect. The reception staff were always happy, willing to help, full of information and again probably the best we’ve come across. The hotel provides a shuttle mini bus to transport the guests to and from the town of Chania. We definitely recommend the Royal Sun Hotel if you are visiting Chania.

Meest vriendelijke personeel en het hotel heeft een fantastische ligging. Schone, mooie kamers en een heerlijk ontbijt met mooi uitzicht. Geweldig uitzicht vanaf het restaurant op de bovenste verdieping. Ook het gratis vervoer naar en terug van het stadscentrum is perfect.

All the staff were super helpful and nice, enjoyed their free shuttle to Chania, well situated and quiet. Would highly recommend staying here, Maria at front desk is amazing!

Enjoyable stay in Chania

Best choice to stay in this beautiful resort with breathtaking view, day and night. Excellent staff service, great breathtaking, good breakfast, free shuttle to the city and free usage of the washer and dryer. Highly recommended.

We stayed 15 days at the hotel, a nice stay. The room is small and I like it brighter, especially the bathroom, otherwise nice view, good service, a good restaurant and has a pool and sun deck. Nikos from the reception who is professional and super helpful makes up for all the short comings of the hotel.

Henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällinen. Huoneemme oli melko pieni ja ahdas mutta siisti. Suuri plussa oli kun pystyi varamaan kuljetus Hanian kaupunkiin ja takaisin. Näköala mahtava aamiaisella!!

This hotel is amazing, the only issue I had was with the hours for the gym. It didn’t open until 9am and from at 2pm till 5pm, then closed again at 9pm. While I understand the need to keep things quiet for other guests, it wasn't conducive for traveling. No early morning workout before breakfast.

Great stay. The staff was very kind and helpful. The restaurant with the view was amazing. It was the best breakfast buffet we have had in a long time. Dinner was great to.

Service was fantastic, unfortunately my shower leaked and the restaurant was above my room though. Also, the Gym hours were disappointing. Amazing venue overall.

Die Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen etwas eng und das Bad ist sehr beengt und wirkt alt. Die Anlage selbst liegt schön am Hang oberhalb von Chania und bietet bei entsprechendem Zimmer einen tollen Bilick auf die stadt und das Meer. Das angegliederte Restaurant The Hill bietet ein hervoragendes Frühstück mit großer Auswahl und bietet für das Dinner top Qualität mit toller Aussicht über die Gegend - ein Highlight!
