I have been travelling to Greenport for years to visit my aging parents. Last night I treated myself to Hotel Moraine and it did not disappoint! Quiet tones to match the atmosphere it just wraps you in warmth and beauty. Close to Greenport but away from the clutter of the main drag. It is all you need.

The views from the hotel were amazing, making it a special place to relax. The price for a single night was a bit high. the amenities like the cottage, firepits, and a fireplace in our room were the highlights after the view. I particularly enjoyed the Lavazza coffee machine in the room. However, one downside was the limited dining options at the hotel itself. We ended up going to the nearest town, Greenport village. Overall, this hotel is great if you're looking for a clean and cozy stay with great views, and don't mind a short trip for more food options.

Hotel Moraine is visually pleasing but it is a RUSE. THIS PLACE IS BUILT OF SHODDY CONSTRUCTION. The guestrooms are extremely loud you hear footsteps above voices in the next room, and there are doors conjoining one side of the room in which you hear your neighbors conversations. It felt like we were in a red roof Inn. When I complained to the staff, they claim they had never heard this before, even though this is a new hotel and has been open less than a year would caution anyone who wants a good night to book this hotel and not waste your money. It is a shame because it is visually pretty and has very nice pool and facilities but other than that it is not worth the money.
