Dear Andrew:Thanks so much for telling us about your unusual check in experience at our hotel. After having reviewed the video of your check in we see that you had a prepaid reservation, as stated, but the hotel policy requires a deposit, either cash or card, for incidentals. You were leaving at 5:00 a.m. which is before the time that cash deposits can be returned and our desk clerk was struggling with what to do about collecting the deposit. She did inappropriately ask for a tip, which is against policy and we will address that with her. We sincerely appreciate your business and hope you will consider staying with us again.
