Good location, parking is a nightmare
The hotel is very conviniently located. Súper close to downtown. The room was huge, just is super difficult to find parking near de hotel. I had to carry my luggage for blocks! The hotel is nice, just not very pretty or anything special.

We enjoyed the proximity to the plaza. It was close enough to easily walk, but just far enough that it wasn’t too loud at night. There is an amazing cafe right around the corner as well.

The location and staff were the two outstanding features. The building is quite old and has not really been "modernised" which for us was a good thing as it kept its character. The many murals in the rooms take a bit of getting used to but do not reduce the enjoyment of staying here. The rooftop was a great surprise and perfect for evening views. Really the only negative is that the wifi was extremely unreliable, but nothing a shared mobile data plan couldn't fix.

EXCELENTE UBICACION DEL HOTEL
El hotel tiene una ubicación excelente, muy cerca de la plaza principal. La limpieza puede mejorar. Me fue realmente útil la habitación con dos recámaras para mi y mi familia. Muy amables los empleados en sus atenciones. El hotel no cuenta con estacionamiento propio, pero ellos me recomendaron uno a 2 cuadras con muy buen servicio.

Reasonable
Location is good, it’s just 2 blocks from the main square, it’s terrace has a good view. The building it’s a bit old but it’s reasonable according to the price.

Todo perfecto excepto por el estacionamiento
El hotel es limpio y agradable muy bien ubicado en la ciudad, las habitaciones son espaciosas y el trato del personal muy cortes y amistoso. Unicamente el servicio de estacionamiento esta asociado , el cual no cumple con las espectativas

It was good for a low priced hotel with close proximity to town. The room was large, 2 bedrooms. The shower pressure and water temperature were great. It was modest, no coffee maker, no bedside lamps. The only issue for us was that our room #5 was below the terrace so we heard chairs scraping at night making it hard to sleep. Perhaps a room elsewhere would have been more quiet. But the rooms are colorful and delightfully painted. Again for the price it was good and the staff was very sweet.

cozy little home-style hotel in the heart of SMA
The hotel has very friendly service and a nice rooftop dining area. The rooms have interesting wall painting and antique feel. Having said that, the facilities in the rooms are very dated and it's not quiet at night with all the noise from lobby and the street (no soundproof in this old building). The location is very good and close to the central of SMA.

location was great!! a few blocks from main plaza. Nice rooftop for complimentary coffee and bread in the mornings. Room are big and fit the culture but some could be a little updated. Staff was very helpful. Massages are also good and very well priced!

el hotel esta super bien ubicado. y super económico. La terraza tiene una vista super linda sobre la ciudad. si no quieres gastar mucho este hotel es muy recomendable por lo que cuesta. nada de lujo pero lo minimo que se necesita.

Muy bonito el hotelito. Los muebles viejitos pero muy familiares. Su toque decorativo encaja perfectamente con San Miguel de Allende. Todo muy limpio. Las sábanas cobijas colchones y almohadas muy agusto.

Hotel lindo. No pudimos dormir.
El hotel es muy lindo. Pero por su ubicacion, hay mucho ruido en las noches por las fiestas de bodas en San Miguel. No pudimos dormir. Pedimos 2 habitaciones y en una de ellas el sanitario no funcionaba adecuadamente.

Hotel bien ubicado pero viejo
La ubicación es buena porque está cerca del centro. Pero, el hotel es una casa grande muy descuidada y con una decoración bastante antigua. El servicio del personal es bueno, aunque no cuentan con estacionamiento.

A typical Rustic Casona
With an amazing Staff, this old house welcomes you since the first step in, but it has a lack of taste in decoration, and some facilities are very old dated, is understandable because is a XVIII century house, but, I think, it can be updated maintaining the good old taste of the Magic Town of San Miguel. SPA is good and professional, but still too basic and a bit too rustic.

Opcion cerca del centro a buen precio.
Considero el hotel una Buena opcion si buscan un costo bajo. Se ubica a 2 cuadras del centro muy cerca caminando. Cuentan con servicio de SPA a precious muy economicos y los masajes si son Buenos. Lo malo como la mayoria de los hoteles en San Miguel de Allende es no contar con estacionamiento. Otro inconveniente es que su Sistema de terminal para pago con tarjeta e internet no funciona siempre, lo cual es efectivamente un gran inconveniente para los turistas ya que no todos cargamos efectivo siempre. Algo que no me agrado es que no tuvieran calefaccion, la temperatura es fria en el pueblo y mas por la noche. Sin embargo, cabe destacar que todo el personal del hotel se porto muy atento y amable en todo momento.

El hotel está muy viejo y sin mantenimiento, la decoración no es muy agradable, sin embargo la ubicación es muy buena. Se me hizo muy caro por lo que ofrecen (hay mejores opciones).
