Clean, good location

We were here as a quick stop on our way to Chengdu. The area around the hotel made for some nice local exploring, and the hotel had a nice pool for some lap swimming (20m). We weren't there long enough to take advantage of the breakfast, but the wifi seemed to work well enough for anyone who might be here on a work trip.

The hotel room is clean, neat, comfortable and spacious. The bathroom is well equipped. The power window curtain is adding convenience to your staying. The breakfast is fantastic with credible variety of choices. The infinity pool is also awesome. In conclusion, everything is so good, and reaches or even exceeds the standard of 5 starred hotel.

Samlet set er Guilin Exhibition Boutique et meget fint valg til en familieferie. Det, der trækker ned for vores vedkommende er - rygning. Rygning var tilladt i dele af morgenmadsrestauranten og kineserne ryger gerne, mens andre sidder og spiser. Derudover står der store askebægre alle steder på hotellet, så man kan næsten ikke undgå røgen. Om det er muligt at bestille et ikke-ryger værelse ved vi ikke - vi var simpelthen ikke opmærksomme på, at det kunne være en mulighed at man måtte ryge på værelserne. Det blev vi dog gradvist mere opmærksomme på under vores rejse rundt i Kina. Hotelpersonalet var meget lidt uddannede i engelsk - selv personalet ved 'Tripadvisor' bordet. Vi downloadede en oversætter-app, og så gik det alligevel - med stor imødekommenhed fra hotelpersonalet. Trods proper rengøring kan røglugten ikke fjernes - ej heller fra ventilationen - så er du ikke interesseret i at blive passiv ryger, så vær opmærksom på dette. Morgenmaden er så som så for europæiske turister, men med stort udvalg og har du mod på lidt andet, så er den meget fin. Når alt dette er sagt, så er det et ganske udemærket hotel med professionel service, meget fin rengøring og mulighed for at bruge indendørs svimmingpool. Hoteller ligger lidt udenfor byen, så beregn en del taxakørsel, til de ting, som er værd at se i Guilin.

It was great. Beautiful room with good amount of amenities.If u r a family of more than 4 then u might find the room a tad bit small but it is doable.Good housekeeping n super clean. The staff was willing to help but v could not communicate with them as they did not know English . What I really loved was their switch panel which was so modern!

Top hotel to stay in

Had a very comfortable stay at the hotel, the room is big and clean, staff was friendly and helpful especially on the day of checkin they couldn’t find my booking as there was some bridging problem between the hotel and the agency. They upgraded (executive king room) us as the room which was booked was full and then contacted hotels.com in the morning to verify the booking :) Best hotel I have stayed in, pictures on the website represent truly what you get unlike some other hotels, pictures are normally deceiving.

Five Star Hotel in Paradise

Located near central Guilin, this hotel offers great amenities beyond expectations. Rooms are spacious and very clean; upgraded to executive room with huge tub and bathrooms. There is an infinity pool on the top floor with great views of karst mountains and the city of Guilin. Fitness room is also located on the top floor. Breakfast is very welcoming with excellent selection. Staff is very friendly. Hotel offers competitive local tour rates with no haggling.

difficult communications

the breakfast was very good and the room was very clean, but communication for anyone in English is near impossible. they do not use air conditioning in the room, so room was 27C at night, with beautiful down comforter, making it even more hot !!! every night woke up in sweat, very difficult to have good nights sleep. had to always ask for everything, they have 2 sinks in different rooms and 1 hand towel for both. staff did want to help, but did not understand our needs. not a good tourist location, but that was not my reason for choosing this location, so I was fine with that.
