"We stayed one night at this property on our way to Ischia. The hotel has a beautiful pool which was exactly what we needed after driving 3 hrs from Puglia. It has views of the harbor and the room was spacious with a safe and big bathroom. There’s on site parking for a small fee and a path that goes down into town so you don’t need a taxi. "Swimming pool was beautiful, weather was perfect. Restaurant fine for lunch, breakfast was average for a property of this level. Rooftop bar was killer, staff up there was the best! Majestic Palace was super clean, the grounds were top-notch. It’s a suburban location, long walk to the square in Sorrento. Maybe five good restaurants within walking distance. Taxis are insanely expensive, but that’s an Italy thing. No uber, other hotels offer free shuttles to Sorrento. All in all a fantastic place…unless you want hustle and bustle of the city"
