"The place was situated in a very beautiful and peaceful location, Jon and Karen were more than helpful to answer any questions on visiting places, where to shop etc, the breakfast was wonderful every single day and service was exceptional, could not ask for anything more, Fantastic job done by Jon and Karen for a daily newly establishment compared to hotel chains that have been there forever in Iceland and are not half as good as Freya Farm 5/5 gold star rating"

"Really cozy cottage (we stayed in the villa) and it came with a private hot tub with natural spring water. It’s excellent value for what we paid for and just comfortable, straightforward, and well appointed. Would love to stay here again! A couple of tips: 1. You must take trash out when you leave. There’s instruction on the wall about where to take it and you could get fined if you don’t. 2. Not sure if it’s Iceland customs but the room had no soap or shampoo, just hand soap. So bring your own :). The hotel is fairly close to Gulfoss. So if you are visiting this area, highly recommend it."

"Lovely decorated, clean room. Small things that could have been better - kettle in room but where it's situated, can't be plugged in - had to put it on the floor. Would have been good to have glasses in room and a fridge would have been great! Otherwise, nice enough stay. "
