"Lotte City Hotel Guro has been my favorite hotel when I visit Seoul. The location is not full of tourists so is quiet. There are plenty of cafes and good transportation. It's clean with enough space for me. The staff is helpful. Satisfied."

"Avoid this property at all costs. This was one of the worst accommodation experiences I’ve ever had. The room had multiple maintenance and safety issues, including broken door and window handles, a damaged bathroom tile, and exposed holes near an electrical circuit. There was also a persistent cigarette smell while the air conditioning emitted a foul odor throughout our stay. Sleep was virtually impossible due to loud music from a neighboring room, constant plumbing noise, and extremely poor sound insulation. When these issues were reported, nothing was done. Reception was unavailable, the online chat was unresponsive, and the owner took no action despite being informed of the problems. The complete lack of support, accountability, or effort to resolve any of the problems was shocking. We also realised surrounding area was unsafe, with a reputation for prostitution, late-night drinking venues, violent crime and dirty. The photos of the property and its surroundings were also misleading and did not reflect the reality of the location. Between the safety concerns, bad smells, sleepless nights, misleading listing, and total lack of response from management, find somewhere else and save yourself!"

"The rooms, property grounds, and amenities here were amazing, but what really made this a five star stay was the staff! Everyone was so kind and professional and I felt as if I was taken care of personally. A special shout out goes to Etham at the front desk, his immaculate suits aside, Etham made our stay so special by being a welcoming face each time we came and went and remembering things about us. He is a super professional without being a robotic so our interactions were so easy and organic. About the hotel specifically. Three of us were in a deluxe double and then later stayed in a deluxe king and the rooms were very spacious with amazing views. Right outside the front door was a bus stop that took you to the city center and any number of destinations in Seoul. Sindorim station is a 10 minute walk away as is Guro in the opposite direction. There is a GS25 and CU across the street so you can easily grab and load your transportation cards there. There are also a ton of fantastic cafes and restaurants within a 1-2 minute walk in all directions. I would 100% stay here again!"
