Das Hotel ist, wie die anderen Hotels am ehemaligen Strand auch, von dem riesigen "Strandgewinn" gebeutelt, sodass praktisch alle Hotels später bestenfalls noch in der zweiten Reihe sind. Die damit verbundene Lärmbelastung wird durch die weiteren kleineren Baustellen ergänzt (die Flex am Morgen vertreibt nicht Kummer und Sorgen und die Rammelmaschine macht auch nicht glücklich). Das Frühstück ist spartanisch und ist in der Baustelle einzunehmen. Das Hotel erwartet von den Gästen, dass sie die (wahrscheinlich teueren) Aktivitäten über das Hotel buchen. Aber ohne sichtbare Preisangaben gibt es nichts zu verdienen. Jede Wasserflasche ist zu bezahlen (10 k). Das Hotel als solches hat einen recht hohen Standard und große Zimmer (vom warmen Wasser, das sehr lange braucht mal abgesehen).

Khách sạn cũ, chốt cửa kính han rỉ. Đồ đạc trong phòng có mùi ẩm mốc. Quạt hỏng công tắc quay, lúc bật được lúc không. Tủ lạnh hỏng, sáng đèn nhưng không mát. Nhà tôi không biết để sữa cho em bé qua đêm trong tủ, sáng hôm sau hỏng hết. Đáng lưu ý, khách nếu dùng đồ uống để sẵn trong tủ lạnh nên xem kỹ hạn sử dụng. Bé nhà tôi mở tủ lấy 1 lon coca uống, tôi nhìn thấy giật mình xem lại thấy đã quá hạn 2 tháng. Báo với phục vụ thì không nhận được lời xin lỗi nào, còn nghi ngờ gia đình tôi nói dối, cử người xác minh. Khi đúng rồi thì chỉ bảo "Quá hạn nên không tính tiền". Bó tay! Nói chung không chất lượng cơ sở vật chất và phục vụ không giống như hình ảnh trên web, không xứng đáng mức giá 600k/đêm mà nhà tôi đã bỏ ra.

Never again!

Worst hostel yet. After check-in a blanket and pillow were thrown into my arms and I was told to go upstairs after they gave me a bed number. I wondered all around the different dorm rooms eventually finding my bed. The worst was the overall cleanliness and the breakfast, which was revolting.

Comfortable

Lovely staff. Good breakfast and a prime location. Close to all the main areas of Catba. The beds were cozy enough to get a great sleep.

Decent budget hotel

After reading the reviews here, I was expecting my worst hotel nightmare. However, the hotel and its rooms weren't as bad as expected. We booked the superior room with sea view for two nights and was given a room overlooking the harbour on the 4th floor with a balcony. The view itself was really nice and the rooms were much larger than we anticipated. The cleanliness of the room was acceptable but it is a old hotel so don't expect a brand new renovated bathroom. The bathroom shower however was not enclosed so when you had one, the water goes everywhere. The breakfast was decent with several Asian dishes and bread. The noise is a bit of a problem with guests in the hotel as well as the surrounding buildings but it usually stops at around 10pm so we didn't have too much trouble. As such, would recommend for budget travellers who aren't looking for anything lavish but don't want to stay in a hostel with shared bathroom etc.

Cheap versus inexpensive.

I was disappointed with what we got for the price. This is the first hotel room in Vietnam that didn't give us bottled water. The breakfast on the Sunday was just ok. Monday there were fewer selections as there were fewer people and Tuesday there was even less. Water was not even an option. We did have a lovely view from our room but overall, I felt disappointed with our stay.

매우 불친절. 시설 낙후..엉망

2017.3.22. 1박했습니다. 우선 카운터에 나이드신 아주머니 엄청 불친절하였습니다. 그리고 superior double or twin room sea view 예약하고 갔는데 가족(3인)이 갔을 때 추가요금 납부하라고 하여 18불 정도 추가로 납부하였습니다 그리고 방안 들어갔는데 에어컨도 안되고, tv도 안나오고 시설이 엉망이었습니다. 이방이 사용하던 방인지 의심이 들 정도 였습니다. 결국 카운터에 얘기해서 야밤에 방을 옮기는 사태까지 발생하였습니다. 조식은 입구 야외 뷔페식입니다. 이호텔은 룸에서 보이는 전망 빼곤 만족할 수 있는게 아무것도 없더군요

Don't bother

The hotel itself is quite dirty. I saw a rat hanging around in the halls and the staff was incredibly disrespectful and unwelcoming. You're better of staying at one of the other hotels nearby or spending a bit more for quality and comfort.

Some good, some bad

The staff were all helpful and lovely, especially the manager. The hotel is located right on the water, which affords nice views from the balcony (we got the superior room). Unfortunately, being on the water means that you are blasted with karaoke all night and, sometimes, during the day. Obviously, not the hotel's fault, but sleeping is a challenge. The room was big and the furniture was nice, but the mattress was only springs and the bathroom dingy.

Nice view from balcony

Check in was quick and easy, Internet was good most of the time. The hotel is a little set back from the road so a little quieter than some. It was in a good location , convienent to several of the better restaurants in town.

Decent hotel, great location, friendly staff

Decent hotel in a great location. We booked a double room with balcony on hotels.con for a better price than offered at reception. Walls are thin so earplugs were handy when sleeping - we like to sleep in. Wi-for was not so good and it seemed the (janitor?) kept unplugging g the modem in our hallway for some reason. Beds were decent, staff was friendly. All in all, we are happy with our stay here. I'd recommend.

Fantastiskt hotel med bra personal.

Hjälpsam personal och skönt läge när hamnen. Skön dusch till skillnad från många andra närliggande hotel där de klagade på varmvattnet. Mcuthyrning på hotellet för samma kostnad som alla andra men det blir enklare med nycklarna.

Das Hotel liegt un Stradnahe und ist auch sonst sehr zuganglich mit offentlichen Verkehrsmittel.Auch die Verpflegungsmoglichkeiten sind sehr gut.Ideal fur eine 2-3 tagige Ubernachtung zum die schone Insel kennenzulernen.

Good location

Situated right on the main strip and only a two minute walk from the hydrofoil pier. Spacious room (Superior Twin), with sea views and a balcony. Only negative is the breakfast (very limited and basic) but plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. Would stay again.

Old but convenient hotel

Runedown and outdated

i took superior room with balcony and sea view - and it was so basic and rundown that i cant imagine how was the other rooms. unfortunately on the island there is not much choice all is overpriced and quality is bad. this hotel is so badly build and maintained that price is not justified.
