We were not aware of the door not shutting. Being anonymous does not help as you did not tell us while you were here. The state parking lot is a difficulty yes but out of our control. Our pricing is mid-range. If you had stayed at one of our neighbors, you would have gotten the same sort of room for 100 more a night.

We have a plumber coming to take care of an issue that you noted. We also tightened up the bed frame as we don't know about those until someone says something. As far as the view is concerned, you had a great view of the water from you room and the pictures we have on-line prove this. Also our pricing is mid-range, so you could have paid a lot more elsewhere and gotten less. You wouldn't want to stay at a beach motel for half of what you paid.

Most of the rooms have been renovated, just not the one you were in. Please try us again and ask for one of the ocean side rooms. Also, some people are still COVID cautious, so there is not any in-room housekeeping. The housekeepers do come by to check on every room every day. You were also welcome to ask for what you needed at the desk.

Yes we could not fix patch on the ceiling that someone pulled down until the room free (today). We also just closed off the door to the next room as we are creating another motel room. It did not look at all bad, just needed painting. We do care as you can well tell from the other reviews.

One spot comes with the room. We have 18 rooms and 18 spots. That means half the guests always have to use the 2nd lot as that is what the state gave us to use.
