“Staff were friendly. Only downside was hot water ran out after one bath. Had to wait over 20 minutes for breakfast but was worth the wait. ”

“Hotel was located in a beautiful setting. There was ample free parking. Good choice of breakfast items. We also ate in the restaurant both evenings. The food was delicious. The bar area was cosy. Room was spacious with everything we required. We had to turn the radiators off though as room was far to hot for me. Not a bad point just personal preference, it was great to have the choice of hot or cold room though. We had a dog friendly room and thought it was great my dog could accompany me in...

“This was a one night stay on our way to Edinburgh with our dogs. It was exactly what we needed a comfortable, clean and well equipped room right next to a lovely pub that is also dog friendly. Sonia and the team couldn't do enough for us, fetching water for our dogs after a long journey. Asking if we had everything we needed. We had a good meal that night and a lovely breakfast the following morning. Such a friendly place, we will definitely be back!”

“This was a very nice comfortable place. We had a little trouble finding it. Was easy to check in and out of. The only suggestion I would make was to put the exterior patio lights on a timer so that they turn off at night— if it’s hot and you have the window open then you have all the light from the patio. But it was very clean and comfortable.”
