"The staff were so friendly, helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. We needed to check out quite early in the morning and could not stay for the hot breakfast, so the staff prepared and packed breakfast the night before for us to take with us when we checked out. We also appreciated the extensive amenities and skincare products on offer; the huge bed; and how clean our room was. ありがとうございました!"
"Amazing place for relaxation and getting away! Five stars doesn’t do it justice, would give it ten stars! The meals were out of this world. Highly recommend the Hakuin suite. "
"Hotel we booked and actually where we stayed were different (within 100m distance though). Room was very small and was not suitable for family stay. They mentioned it's for 4 person stay but good for 2 person only."
"The service here was excellent, they welcomed me with a handwritten letter on my table with some decorations and mints. Great place to stay, room view of the ocean was beautiful. The room itself was huge in comparison to other hotels in the area. "
"I think some kind of chest is needed in the room.
Also , knife and frying pan should not cost extra 1,000 yen, should be included into the room price.
The view from the window from the 5th floor fleas grea."

"It was ok. Bedding had stains felt un clean.
Lack of amenities for cooking. Kitchenette was useless without pans, plates, and glasses and coffee cups. "

Top Hanashiro no sato Beach Hotel Reviews
Southern Beach Hotel & Resort OKINAWA
10/10 Excellent
"Great resort like hotel near the beach.
We had a beautiful view of the see from our very spacious room with balcony.
The pools were lovely and a perfect way to relax in between exploring and shopping.
Just across the road was a lovely wee beach which was really nice for swimming.
The breakfast was great, so many options to choose from and making it a really good value stay.
Poolside food and drinks were very expensive and although they had restaurants at the hotel we didn’t dine there due to price and selection
Having a convenience store onsite was great though for snacks, drinks and ice creams ( and a range of souvenirs fairly priced) as there is nothing walkable in this area. That’s the main downside of this hotel but worth it to have the facilities we enjoyed.
There was a bus that stopped at the hotel to take you to and from the airport and to shopping areas so that was convenient.
We spent a bit in u era though as it was a way out and the bus wasn’t always possible.
Unfortunately our check in and out took way too long and the staff weren’t able to help with advice on local restaurants etc which was a shame as we depend on local knowledge when travelling.
Other than that a great stay and we really enjoyed it

"We stayed at Ryukyu Hotel & Resort Nashiro Beach for three nights and found it to be a great option for families, especially those with young children. The pools and beach were the highlights of our stay. However, do note that the afternoon tide can significantly lower the water level, making swimming less enjoyable during those hours.
We visited during a very hot and rainy period, which limited some activities. Breakfast and lunch at the hotel were excellent, with a good variety and quality. That said, if you don’t have a rental car, transportation becomes a challenge, taxis are necessary to reach nearby cities or attractions.
A key tip: renting a car in Okinawa requires an International Driver's Permit (IDP), which you must obtain in advance (e.g., from AAA in the U.S.). We were surprised by this requirement and unable to rent a car, which limited our ability to explore the island fully. Additionally, any tours or island visits often need to be booked well in advance, so plan ahead.
The hotel caters mostly to families with children. While it’s a very nice property, adults traveling without children may find the atmosphere less relaxing."
"Come stay here if you drive. The room, the view from the balcony and the public bath looked just like that in the pictures, pleasant. We came for the onsen and the view and completely loved the public bath facilities and the massages (yonna course). Inside the spa building they also serve simple lunch everyday and dinner (weekends only) There’s also a gym with quite a few machines, a 25m pool and games for rent."
"Every part of our stay at Hyakuna Garan was memorable. This is a place where thoughtfulness shows in every detail—from the serene design to the incredible staff who were consistently kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. The atmosphere was deeply relaxing, making it easy to disconnect and fully enjoy the experience.
The food exceeded all expectations. It was much better than I anticipated from the online reviews. Every meal featured incredibly fresh ingredients and a well-balanced mix of Okinawan dishes. Dining here became one of the highlights of our stay.
The open-air baths were easy to use, beautifully maintained, and added a special, calming rhythm to each day.
If you’re considering Hyakuna Garan, don’t hesitate. Splurge on at least 1-2 nights—you won’t regret it.

"A perfect place for outdoor camping with hotel-like accommodation and interiors. Expect a bit lesser with very basic facilities but top it up with BBQ and campfire options - all in the wild, one will be extremely happy. Overall a 10-star place for a family (or more) to spend time together and create wonderful memories."
