5 star hotel, amazing property gardens & lake view

Amazing hotel, very comfortable spacious room with a luxury feel. Great location with enormous beautiful lakeside gardens and walk way around west lake. Highly recommended.

Excellent grounds and location, pity the rooms...

This is no doubt a gorgeous property, and with a great location right beside West Lake so perfect for people looking for idyllic strolls beside the lake or a jog in the morning in beautiful surrounds. The letdown however were the rooms - they were unfortunately slightly dated. Should the rooms be refreshed i would have no qualms choosing this hotel whenever I come to Hangzhou

This was an amazing hotel on beautiful grounds and the perfect place to stay in Hangzhou. Would love to go back. Everyone from the staff was accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend.

Hotel is located on a large lakeside historic property. Staff is excellent, the breakfast buffet is great. However it is a dated resorted, the room furnishings bear no resemblance to the photos. Bathrooms showing some age. Not within walking distance, it is a secure, secluded resort. An excellent value and well worth staying there!

Property is old, but service is great. Dining was way too expensive which was not match what I got. Food had too much sugar and overly charged as well as breakfast fee. I was treated really well by a staff Mr Lu, he helped me plan the day trip and connected me to driver who did amazing service , he also helped me got tickets to a famous night show which I enjoyed a lot. this one day trip in Hangzhou gave me great impression . I strongly recommend this hotel for its location, service

The hotel is right at XiZi lake, walking distance to most sightseeing places, especially Leifeng Pagoda. The landscape of the hotel may be the best in XiZi lake due to much less tourist. The facilities are kind out of date as it was built years ago.

Highly recommend! The location is super convenient if you’d like to be close to west lake. It’s technically within west lake area. Enjoy west lake view when walking around the hotel. It’s walking distance, within 10 mins, to Leifeng pagoda, which is one of the most popular tourist sites. Staffs are extremely friendly and helpful here, they helped me getting tickets to shows and recommended many local food. I will stay here again.

Glorious views of the lake

The grounds of the hotel are vast and beautifully landscaped. Staying there felt like a lovely retreat. The grounds meet up with one end of the wide, beautiful, shaded 2-mile causeway that stretches over a good portion of West Lake. Don’t miss it. Also, we took the 6:30 p.m. hourlong boat ride from the hotel. We were astonished and delighted by getting up close to the water and light show, which we hadn’t known about. The hotel staff bent over backward to help us in every way. The restaurant food was very good. We loved our stay.

Excellent Location! Beautiful view of west lake! Delightful garden design! I have always relaxed and enjoyed to stay at XiZi, especially the staffs are very friendly and helpful.
