The rooms were fairly updated. Newer and upgraded carpeting was nice to have. Most importantly, the staff made arrangements for me to checkin a little later, as I was traveling and not able to checkin until just after 10pm. I felt that was very thoughtful and proactive on their part. It was very much appreciated. The cleaning staff in the morning were getting after it. They were very nice and hospitable.

Well kept room for older motel. However I do question having short shag carpet as far as cleanliness goes. Room had all amenities which was really nice.

Very clean and comfortable. My room had a jetted tub which worked great. Furnishings above average for a motel. WiFi happened to be out but I’m sure this was an aberration.

Easy, simple check-in after long day driving. Front desk woman was super nice and helpful. Room was cute and there was a local, quick diner right behind our room, so that was a great bonus after such a long day! Would definitely stay here again!

The room was clean and comfortable. It has ample parking if your pulling a atv trailer. The lady at the frint desk was friendly and helpful. The small town was sweet.

The room was very nice, just recently renovated but the show rod was really rusted and the Mirror had defects. When walking in to check in, we had to ring the bell 3 times and then I actually had to shout out in the house to get service twice.

Sparkling clean and friendly place in the middle of nowhere. The rooms are well equipped with all the necessary amenities, the furniture is new, the shower is in great condition. We enjoyed the local grill bar menu and had a great sleep. Check in and check out were quite convenient. There's not much cons - just the noise from the parking cats and the traffic outside, but one cannot really blame the hotel for that. Great place for a 1-night stay.

The whole town had no power you could not get a hold to the hotel and I couldn’t get a hold of CheapTickets to let them know that there’s nobody there you can’t even check in because it was totally black dark whatever you wanna call it so you tell me how am I gonna get my money back

We do apologize for the inconvenience. Managment did their best to contact everyone who was staying with us the night of the power outage to let them know we had no power and a full refund was being issued.

Suffocating use of chemicals and heavy perfume in the rooms. Unable to breathe. If have asthma or allergies do NOT stay there!

Great place to stay.
We have stayed at Whispering Sands many times and we are always pleased. It is an older hotel, but they keep it clean and updated. Conviently located to many outdoor recreation areas. Great restaurants near by.
