The staff and hotel were extremely accommodating allowing for early check in and providing ginger tea to my husband who had gotten food poisoning and to me who arrived on a very late flight. The room was excellent and close to nearby sights but not terribly loud. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at this hotel! The room was clean and well-appointed, the service was top-notch and the breakfast simply amazing! The hotel is located in a nice and quiet neighborhood, yet it is within walking distance from Hoan Kiem lake and some really nice restaurants. Will stay here again if we come to Hanoi!

The property was tucked away in a perfect location in Hanoi Old Quarter. After a 20 hr flight from Canada we arrived to a spacious, quiet suite with a very comfortable bed and ‘the best’ pillows! We found most, if not all, sights we wanted to see were in walking distance or a trip on the Hop On/Off bus took us there. As the street traffic (for walking in the evening) can be a bit overwhelming (but safe) we dined exclusively at the restaurant that adjoined the hotel. The buffet breakfast was also served here. All food offerings were very good and table service was top-notch. We highly recommend staying at DeSyloia when you visit Hanoi
