Be careful. When I arrived this hotel at night, I hearded that they sent e-mail to me 1 hours ago like this : "So sorry for this email if it disturb you. Please cancel your booking as soon as possible because our room was sold out today. We did close our room on website but don't know somehow, you still booked the room. Please cancel the booking then we will free of charge for this cancelation". They said this is caused by system of Hotels.com so they don't have responsibility. For 2 hours I had to wait until they search the refund regulation on website. Finally they returned money except commission. I was really tired and had to find another hotel to sleep at 11 pm. I hope nobody expierence like this any more.

Hotel im Shoppingfirtel von Hanoi
Auf den ersten Blick ein sehr nettes kleines Hotel auf den zweiten Blick sehr verwohnt und dreckig
Hotel is very conveniently located and just a short walk to the lake area. Hotel is simple and clean with a decent selection for the breakfast menu. A value for money hotel inside old quarters. A short walk away is the airport shuttle which departs non stop every hour to the airport only for VND $40,000 (about USD $2).
If you are looking for luxury, this hotel is not for you.
However, it is charming, comfortable, and you can not beat the location. It is right in the heart of Hanoi.
The staff members are so kind and accommodating.
Breakfast is included and consists of freshly made omelettes, bacon, coffee and fresh fruit and juice. Delicious!
The lady manager is absolutely helpful and friendly. Clean and spacious refurbished rooms. Cheap restaurant within lobby area. Every time I come back to Hanoi will stay only at this hotel. The most important thing is - speak to the lady manager and definitely she will help you with your enquiry, even how to get to somewhere by public bus. She never tried to force me for expensive tours or overcharged me for taxi. Even I did get discounted rates for some 3rd party services, compared to what would pay if used directly from supplier.
